Ahh! The Sun!!!

Went to Wild Wild Wet yesterday with Evigan. Spent most of our time in the lazy river after trying out all the rides. Not many rides to begin with and also, there was hardly anyone there, being a Monday and all.

We washed up at the right time because around 15 minutes after we did, it started pouring like crazy. So we settled down for dinner at the KFC branch there before heading off at 7plus.

Walked around White Sands and headed over to Simei after that.

At Simei, we went to this cafe, Eighteen Chefs. Apparently, the main chef worked under Jamie Oliver before. We didn't order anything to eat though, we only had drinks. You can view the site here at: http://www.eighteenchefs.com/.

As we were walking off to the MRT, Evigan spotted this pigeon that was awkwardly standing on the edge of the steps. So we walked closer to it and Evigan noticed that it was injured. The pigeon started hopping away from us, probably feeling uncomfortable and all and guess what?

This girl, probably around the age of 4 - 5, started chasing and KICKING the pigeon. Like, what the hell? Such a young age and she knows how to abuse animals? If I had my way, I'd have her locked up in a cage full of angry pigeons to teach her a lesson. Ok la, that'll probably piss her off even more but meh...

Then after the girl turned around and ran to her guardian, this mat started chasing after the pigeon and Evigan confronted him. So that lil mat went running to his girlfriend and they walked off. Pussies...

Have you ever tried catching an injuired bird? I haven't. And that's what we tried to do so that we could take it to the vet. Unfortunately, we didn't dare to use our bare hands because we were afraid that the pigeon had some disease that could spread to us if it pecked us or something. So I asked Evigan to go look for a box and he came back with a Long John Silvers box.

With the help of Evigan's Godbrother, we managed to get the pigeon in the box and went to Pets Safari with it. However, the vet was already gone and there was no way Evigan or I could bring it home. So we decided to release it at a more quiet place with hardly anyone there to provoke it.

Home sweet home for the both of us after that. We're both sunburnt now and I hope the pigeon is ok.

Beatles + Metallica = Beatallica

So I was surfing around on www.musicsharing4all.blogspot.com for Beatles songs and I couldn't find them in the list of bands that they have. I thought I was just a lil blind and missed the Beatles completely. So I decided to type 'Beatles' in the search bar.

This is what I got:

Beatallica - Discography

Beatallica is a bash-up band that plays music made from combinations of songs of The Beatles and Metallica. A Beatallica song is typically a blend of a Beatles song and a Metallica song with a related title (e.g. The Thing That Should Not Let It Be, combining The Beatles' Let It Be and Metallica's The Thing That Should Not Be or And Justice for All My Loving combining Metallica's And Justice for All and the Beatles' All My Loving), though sometimes just a Beatles song will be used as a basis with modified lyrics. The lyrics slip back and forth between the two songs—occasionally neither in lieu of original lyrics comically referencing Metallica, heavy metal music or the heavy metal community—while the scansion and melody are usually Beatles-based, the music is played metal style with some Metallica riffs and solos thrown in. Consistent quirks made in the lyrics also criticize glam metal much in the fashion that thrash metal fans would do[clarify] (bands like Poison, White Lion, Dokken, Warrant, Winger and Scorpions are examples).

Just for the record; I hate myself for doing what I did and am going to do. I never expected things to come this far and spiral out of control, and I really mean it when I tell my friends that I'm on the verge of just giving up. I hate seeing my parents get pushed around and shown disrespect; not saying that I haven't disrespected them before, but at least I realise my mistakes and do my best not to repeat it again.

'Kaya' was telling me to just ignore; but really, it's not as easy as it seems to be. It's either sooner or later and seeing someone get humbled and slapped awake the hard way. No one likes being insulted (calling people prostitutes is one way) and looked down on.

Papsy commented that I won't have the guts to stick through the whole motion and I think that he may be right. I don't know really.

Justin said to use really harsh but true words to slap one awake but I can't vision myself doing that. Oh well, I guess only time will tell.

Anyways, despite hearing about Sushi Tei's price and all, Evigan and I somehow ended up there for dinner yesterday (14th April 2008). All in all, the prices were quite reasonable if you compare it to the quality of the food. First time Evigan would even think of spending so much for dinner too. =)
