Thank you Yew King, for stepping in to help me with my presentation when I couldn't take it.
With every day that passes by comes the truth in the light. Thank you Wayne.
And thank you to everyone for cheering me up.

To Wayne Thunder.
It happened so fast, it seemed almost surreal.
Iylia woke me up with a call this morning, saying that something happened to Wayne.
That he passed away.
I jumped out of bed and got on the computer immediately. I asked Dong if it was true but he didn't really know what was going on until Cynthia called him.
So at first, I thought I could hold it all in, tears and all. But as I went on to print my project report out, it hit me and I stopped doing everything that I was doing. I sat there, speechless, and tears started flowing. Called eXe, called Evigan... Gosh, everything was a blur I swear.
I had to calm myself down so I decided to finish my slides for my presentation on Wednesday. Guilty as charged, I lifted from Yew King's report. But I HAD to concentrate on something.
Called Hantu after that and broke the news to him. Then I arranged to meet him at Tiong Bahru Plaza at 3.30pm.
Took a bath and left to see a doctor.
I reached Tiong Bahru around 3.10pm and walked around before heading to Long John Silvers. I switched my ear rings to the ones I bought. [It's in the shape of the sun '(#)' in msn and it said, 'Sun' on both ear rings. Reminded me of Wayne so I bought it.] Sat there and stoned for a long time while working on my word search puzzles. I started crying when I saw Hantu, I don't know why. I guess, I can't handle loss very well at all.
Hantu left for jamming so I stuck around and worked on more word search puzzles. I switched locations a couple of times.
I didn't know whether I should go for the wake. I wanted to preserve the memory I had of Wayne. The last time I saw him being Saturday, 19th May 2007. He met me to pass me the tickets for Rock For Good and he hung out with us as well.
Hantu text-ed me saying that he was more than willing to accompany me to the wake after the jam. He said that I really should go.
Reached St Joseph. Loads of people were there. I went up to pay my respects to Wayne. I was shaking so much when I saw him. He looked, so different.
I'll end here.

Rest In Peace.
Wayne, I'll keep you in my heart forever.
Thank you for being such a wonderfully beautiful person.
Love you.

It's raining now.
Wayne, you will be missed by everyone dearly.
And it'll keep flowing on and on.
Rest In Peace Wayne. You've been a wonderful person, a great teacher and an awesome friend.

So, so you think you can tell
Heaven from Hell,
Blue skys from pain.
Can you tell a green field
From a cold steel rail?
A smile from a veil?
Do you think you can tell?
And did they get you to trade
Your heros for ghosts?
Hot ashes for trees?
Hot air for a cool breeze?
Cold comfort for change?
And did you exchange
A walk on part in the war
For a lead role in a cage?
How I wish, how I wish you were here.
We're just two lost souls
Swimming in a fish bowl,
Year after year,
Running over the same old ground.
What have we found?
The same old fears.
Wish you were here.

Too High.

I dug this out from my pile of letters in the drawer. A picture of my cousin, Gregory, stuffing the pacifier into my mouth. My cousin, Amanda, made it into the front cover of a card for my 11th birthday.

I was walking towards the train station from school today when I realised that I forgot to submit my MC for last Thursday.
*&$(*#&*#;{?>!$#(&^#$&^#$!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So anyways, I walked back to school and submitted my MC.
Reached Junction 8 and bought 2 tickets to Spiderman 3. Strolled around until around 3.15pm when Agnes joined me after her class. We bought drinks and hotdogs and went in.
The show was ok. I couldn't really concentrate though, cos PEOPLE were being noisy.
I had giggling, "omg-he's-going-to-die-boohoohoo", "ahh-he's-so-cute" "omg-omg-omg-omg", squirming school girls on my right and on Agnes' left is a mother and her son.
..only that the son wasn't in his seat. He was jumping up and down in front of his mother. And apparently, Agnes got kicked a couple of times.
I was so pissed off I text-ed nearly everyone on my contact list to bitch. Well, not really everyone. More like, the people I often hang out with.
"I'll make talking during a movie bannded. The offender will have to spend a night in jail. And whoever who likes to kick the chair infront of them shall spend one night in jail. AND, they will have to pay the person $100 per kick. And those hyperactive kids will have to be strapped to the god damned chair."

Nothing On My Back.
Had our family gathering over lunch today. Karin Jie Jie and Edward Kor Kor are back in Singapore for a short period. It was awesome to meet them again! =) Oh and the little ones were there too so everyone had a ball of a time.
After lunch, Gregory, Nicholas and I walked over to Katong Shopping Mall to play a few rounds of bowling. However, when we stepped out of the lift, we realised that the bowling alley's closed down. It was dark and vacant. Greg walked in as the door was open and I made a comment saying that this could turn out to be some horror movie.
Called Dad and he made a U-turn back to pick us up. Sent Greg home before dropping me off at Marina Square. Met Evigan there and we went to catch a movie. 28 Weeks Later. Scary shit I tell you. Ahh... I don't even want to think about it now.
Anyways, we went to Coffee Bean at Orchard to look for Hidayat. Gordon and Evan joined us shortly after. We sat around for awhile before heading off to meet Ziyang at Far East.

Degraded Losers.
It's really easy to make people hate a local band here in Singapore. Just have a few influential people talk shit and you're set.
But what I don't understand is why the kids would just take the rumours and use it against the band as if the band affected them personally. Hey kids, talk shit all you want, just remember that the nice people you think you're talking to might just be the one who's going to cause the downfall of your band in the future. Just one lil mistake and you're set for life.
And I don't understand why those "influential" people who claim to want to help the local scene would want to talk shit about a band. I mean, get this, the local scene over here is already struggling like fuck, so why make it worse?
So what if you're "the hand" or a person who organised a huge, gig here in Singapore? I shall now refer to people like these as "it".
It's really funny that it can talk about the band not paying up when they did. Don't forget about the time it'll wet it's pants and start crying when it was being chased by the landlord. Who rushed to save it's sorry ass? Fucktard.
Oh and, don't forget how it's cheating bands of their money and lying to them about how much they're getting for gigs. Bastard. You disgust me to the core.
You see, it's human to think about the bad stuff first. And usually, they won't have the guts to admit how they got help.
They do, however, have the guts to email people just to badmouth the band. Spy this you lil sorry ass bitch.
Bloody kids who don't know nuts about what's going on. Ah well, as they say, "Empty Vessels Make The Most Noise."

The Childish Grin.
It's funny how some people can sit through all my rantings and whinings and still love me for who I am.
Sometimes I wish I was much much more patient than I usually am. I mean, I may appear patient and all but deep down inside I might be praying for it to be all over.
Thank god for my superb anger management skills. =)

When you're all alone
And you need a light
Someone to guide you, through the night
Just remember that I am here
To hold you close and dry your tears
And just when you thought you were falling
But you know I'll always be right there
When you're all alone
And you need a friend
Someone to help you, to the end
When you need someone, to catch you when you fall
I'll be there through it all
Just when you thought you were losing
But you know I'll always be right there
I'll be there through the good times
And the bad
And we'll be there for each other
You're the best friend I ever had
And just when you thought you were falling
But you know I'll always be right there
Whenever you need me
I'll always be right there
I'll always be right there

The Dead Awake
Cool Blue
I stirred around in my bed. Even in my sleep, I could hear the sound of rain spilling over from the clouds that tower above us.
5 more minutes... Just another 5 more minutes...
Get up. You're going to be late!
This loud, unspoken voice in my head snapped me awake.
I got about to my daily routine before leaving for the house.
Late...
The day wasn't turning out to be anywhere near promising. The sky was dark and it just kept pouring. Every step I took was a step away from my comfort zone.
The train station seemed so far away. I walked with my head down, careful to avoid water puddles. I was not in the mood to get my feet wet. I was already getting all wet and cold. Oh how I wish for a cup of hot chocolate and my cosy bed. My warm cosy bed...
The train ride was somehow comforting. I had my book for company, and also a sleeping Kamal beside me. School was just a couple of stops and a ten minute walk away.
==================
I got so absorbed into the book that I almost contemplated staying on the train just so I can finish the chapter. That would mean missing my stop though.
Food Rachel... Food and sleep...
The lab seemed so cold and empty. I was probably the 7th student to enter.
Oh just one cup of hot chocolate... One cup of hot chocolate to wash the cold away.
