Ignorant Fool.

Riot Act.
Had a dream on the 29th August. A happy one. Dreamt that all the family was in Hong Kong together. We were eating at this place and the cousins were all seated together. Then Bjorn said something like, "This is fun, we should do this more often."
I miss my cousins. Can't wait to see them on my birthday!
Bjorn's going back soon. =(
Anyways, yesterday, when I was lying in bed, I felt what I've been feeling for the past week. I don't know how to explain the feeling but it makes me feel as if my heart's damn weak. But it's not a physical feeling, argh, how do I explain this. It's like physical but more to the mental side? Something like that.
It's like, wherever I am, whoever I'm with, that feeling seeps in and I don't feel comfortable. But as long as I have music accompanying me, that feeling goes away.
Meh...

James Blunt R.I.P.

I hate James Blunt's songs and his gay-ish voice.

It's raining
It's pouring
The old man is snoring
Bumped his head and he went to bed
And couldn't get up in the mornin'
So did he die?

Delivering the Goods.
Bloody hell, Iylia you think I damn free ah?
Name 5 weird things about yourself.
1) Contrary to popular belief, I am actually a very busy individual.
2) I make silly spelling mistakes like 'seperate' all the time even after correcting myself again and again. [Evigan's going to hyper ventilate]
3) I have a twin who wants me to help her catch our friend's shit.
4) And she says that we're not weird, just different.
5) I can switch from listening to Skid Row to Westlife. Beat that.
The next 5 people to do this:
1) Evigan
2) And people
3) like Iylia
4) who is
5) damn free. =)

Black.
Bubbles bubbles, they always seem to pop
Bubbles bubbles, you can never seem to stop
Exam stress... Wanted to de-stress before I leave the house to get to school. Heh...
Anyways...
They're round and transparent. They can swallow a person whole. You can put little ones in them but BE CAREFUL. You can colour them, but I'd advise you to leave them be. They can be hours of fun, but just a minute of fascination. No one will ever outgrow it, we're all kids at heart.
What am I talking about? Can you guess?

Live Stage
The first act was a rather bad start in my opinion, don't even know how they got in in the first place. Vocals were urgh, just screaming and screaming. At one point I couldn't even figure out what the vocalist was singingscreaming. Then one of the members decided to strip. All I did was to look away for a few seconds and suddenly my Renegades were like, "RACHEL, THAT GUY STRIPPED!!!"
I turned to look and oh my god, for those who woke up late and went there late, here's what happened: That guy duct-taped himself here n' there all over his body and he wore a G-String. WTF!
Next up was X'Scapist! RnB act. Was groovin' to the beat. Sorta.
Freefallers, formerly known as Sleeve were awesome, Shaz is an awesome singer.
Ma boi, Rapscallion, was up next. Caylynn got me to go to the stage cos she said that he wanted to throw his hat out to me. But he didn't in the end cos I was holding the camera. He did three songs. I love 'Food Fight' alot alot.
Moving on! Allura! Inch looked like Daphne Khoo on stage, from far! Her vocals were awesome. Enjoyed their set alot!
Bhelliom played an awesome set. I don't usually listen to their type of music but people were blown away.
BAD OBSESSION! =D Evigan did the Nightrain solo! I wanted to stand right infront but people already took my ideal spot up. Didn't want to risk standing in the middle cos I didn't want to mosh. From some of my friends', renegades' and my observation, they had the biggest moshpit that night. People were yelling and begging for an encore but we were behind time. Great job boys! =D
Aphonia was up next! Love their song, 'Drop Me A Sign' Hannah looked like she was having a blast on stage.
Summer's Over performed for the first time, with their new bassist and keyboardist. They redid their old songs, made it sound a lil progressive.
FIREBRANDS! Awesome as usual. I had to coordinate 11 people for the finale. Hantu came out with his bass and did his solo. Jachin and doc came in and BANG! People started moshing, jumping, stage diving, body surfing, moshing. I nearly got lifted up twice. Nearly, but I didn't want to. And I got kicked in the head twice. Thanks Jach, and Caylynn! For watching out for me. =D
Last but never the least, Rudra! I don't think I need to give a review for them. I'll probably sum up whatever the crowd would say, 'Brutally awesome'. Something like that.
Acoustic Stage
Didn't catch the first act, was too traumatised to move.
For This Cycle looked damn cute with his haircut and all. Heh...
Didn't manage to catch Jess Chen but I recall one rather amusing incident when we were outside of DXO. He was at the entrance and he gave me a how should I say, a rather innocent look and asked if he could put his guitar down there. Haha... Cute. I said yes of course, he's performing.
Bec & Ross were awesome. I love their voices. Angelic.
Sadly, I missed out on the rest of the acts cos I was sooo busy downstairs. A certain someone was missing in action a couple of times and I had to pass tickets to people.

Note: I am, as you can tell, rather biased towards some bands but then again, that's just my opinions. Cheers! =)

Trying to keep myself awake.
Close your eyes, feel it from inside out, the emotions, the anger, the pain, the happiness, the sadness. Feel your tears as they get squeezed out from your eyes. Arrgh, you can't contain it...
Get it out, get it out...
There are some songs, no matter how good you play it on the guitar/bass/keyboard/drums, that can only expressed to the max by, singing it out, loud.

Sleep... Sleep... Sleeeeep.
Urgh... I've been having sleepless nights recently. Nights where I'll toss and turn in bed, trying to get to sleep. When I DO fall asleep, I'll be half awake for some reason. Then I'll get up at 7am in the morning for some other absurd reason and make myself go back to sleep again. Eventually, I'll get up at around 10 - 11plus.
My neck hurts too.

Honestly, I'm not one for spending long days at home, watching shows and playing games. I get bored easily. Live with that.

First Day Of My Life
Yesterday, when I was in bed, waiting to fall asleep, I had a million and one thoughts running in my head. I even thought of what to blog, what to write. But when I woke up this morning, the 'deepness' of what I thought of to write seemed to have died during my sleep.
Lucid dreams, I love them. For some reason, I seem to have developed the skill to remain in that state of dreaming, whilst others would wake up once they realise that they're dreaming.
I dreamt that I was involved in a war against the Japs. Pretty traumatic shit I tell you.
Anywho, here are snippets of my dreams.
There was a scene where I was with little kids, trying to run away from the fighting zone, my dad was one of the people fighting. A soldier threw a grenade over to our side and for some reason it didn't explode because one of the people stuck their finger in it. A second grenade came over and the same thing happened.
There was one point where I managed to sneak a grenade past the security check, into the containment room. Ain was there, so were my other friends. One of them even said that since I was there with them, there's hope afterall.
We managed to get out of the room with the grenade, killing some soldiers in the process.
The last part had me escaping with a rope, from my room. My mum was right behind me.
==================
There are many nights in my life where I feel like ending it all. When I think about the mistakes I made and how life is treating me. I sometimes wish to take the easy way out. End it all, end the burden that people are carrying for me.
I don't feel happy, people think that I'm happy, but I'm not. I mean, there are times in my life when I feel like I'm the happiest girl in the world. I live for the moment, and in that moment, I'm happy. But happiness has its way of causing you more pain when it goes away.
You fall asleep and dream, dream that all your friends are by your side, everyone's happy, you guys have everything that you want in life.
Then you wake up, and that dream fades away, and you're left to wallow and feed on the bits of that dream, clinging on to it like a worn out teddy bear.
You think back at the times when you were trouble-free, when life wasn't as complicated as it really is. When life was beautiful, everyone cared, everyone loved.
Suddenly, you wake up and you realise that in life, real life, people are starting to not care, they just go about their daily business, not bothering about the people around them. People get more and more selfish, and cold, and hard hearted.
Times like these, I'd feel like breaking away from the ugly shit that goes on in life. But the only thing that's stopping me, is ...

This song makes me smile.

The Peter Panda Dance
When your down and low,
Lower than the floor, and you feel like you
Ain't got a chance, da da,
Dont make a move 'till your in the groove,
And do the peeter panda dance!
Just hop three times like a kangaroo,
Side step twice just like the crabs do.
Three steps forward one step back!
Quick like a turtle, lie on your back.
Roll like a log 'till you cant roll no more,
Better jump quick like there aint no floor.
Hold your breath, Step to the left,
And that's the Peter, I swear that's the Peter,
That's the Peter Panda dance!!

Finding beauty in the dissonance
Yesterday was awesome. Kath Aunty's house is soooooo huuuuge! Greg's room has this 'balcony' thing. Damn... I wish I had something like that. That 'balcony' etension room is sound proof! I could place a drumset in there!
Played with the cousins/nephews/niece. Aidan's rather quiet and observant. He hardly smiles, he sticks to his mum alot but I guess, if you just take the time to sit with him, he'll warm up to you eventually. I had a little of that when he was playing by the chair. He even used me as a stepping 'ladder' to climb up the couch to get to his mum.
Oh and we had a go on firecrackers, or are they called fire 'sparklers'? Those sticks you light up with fire and they start to sparkle and stuff. Fun fun. It was like, reliving our childhood days all over again.
And now, I got my hands on the Sega Saturn. Thanks Greg! For lending it to me! =D At least I have something to entertain me now.
Juxtaposed pictures of us.
Cold silence has
A tendency to
Atrophy any
Sense of compassion
Between supposed lovers
For the Attention of:
I find myself being able to call you less, but the more I do, the more I miss you, the more I want to call you, the more it kills me inside, the more I indulge myself in engaging in activites that I haven't done in a long time just to occupy myself for the time being. Think packing/colouring. I miss the 'us' on the 7th April 2007. Love.You.
There was a time that the pieces fit
But I watched them fall away
Mildewed and smouldering
Strangled by our coveting
I've done the math enough to know
The dangers of our second guessing
Doomed to crumble unless we grow
And strengthen our communication
Thanks to Tool for Schism.

Itch.
3 nightmares in a row. The second one ended with me crying, like, literally crying. Woke up after that and forced myself back to sleep as it was still dark.
My third dream was scary, violently scary. The person yelled something at me while storming towards me. That line kept ringing in my ear even after I woke up.
"This is a family relationship, there is no such thing as friends."
Got up eventually, still rather shaken. Looked out of the window, felt the wind brush against my face. =) Heard little kids running around at the playground. Today seems different. Probably because it's a public holiday and the kids are free from schoool. I used to be one of them, along with my little brother and our childhood friends.
Going to Kath Aunty's house later. Can't wait to hang out with the cousins/nephews/niece/uncles/aunts/grandfather. Family.

My achy breaky heart.
Saw my dad in his dance class just now. They danced to Achy Breaky Heart by Billy Ray Cyrus and Lemon Tree by Fools Garden.
"Was my dancing smooth?"
Very confidently, I replied with a smile and a nod and a very satisfied, "Yes."
I love my dad. Happy that's he's taking dancing and singing classes despite all the singing practice that we have to stand when he practices at home. He's getting younger by the day, happier and heathier by the moment.
Sometimes I wish that life wasn't so complicated. Or maybe it's cos I make it out to be so complicated with my fickle mind. Changing my decision 5 seconds after it was made.
My life now feels like an F1 race. Everyday passes by so quick, as if it's just one lap after another, with me in the lead. So much so that I get bored the instant I slow down, or just try to relax.
When I get bored, I start thinking more. Thoughts run in and out of my head like the world's fastest 100m sprinter, Asafa Powell. Wooo... And I'll be getting confused/worriied/frustrated/depressed blah blah blah...
Hence I have made up my mind to take things real slowly now. Gonna concentrate on what I wanted to do in the past, but never starting on it cos I've been too caught up with what I might say, "living for the moment".
So if you're looking for me these few days, no point talking to me on msn or trying to call me. Chances are, I WILL NOT reply/pick up. Just drop me a text message and I'll decide if I want to reply.

Sometimes when life feels like a rush, stop and slow down.
Don't let rushing become part of your life.
